ANNUAL BIRD SHOW 2017

                                   ANNUAL SHOW
RESTRICTED TO MEMBERS OF MCIS.

OPEN TO THE PUBLIC UPON COMPLETION OF JUDGING  APPROXIMATELY 12.30PM.   ADMISSION FREE

This show presents a wonderful opportunity for enthusiasts and interested members of the public to view a display of many different types and breeds of and perhaps some of the best canaries in Victoria, or indeed Australia. Just a sample of some of the types on display include the ever popular Border Fancy, the almost parrot sized Yorkshire and the brilliantly coloured Red Factors not to forget to mention Lizards, Glosters, Fyfes, etc, the list could go on and on.

The show takes the form of a Young Bird Championship event. The winners of each class for a particular type or breed are then put up against each other to determine the best cock in show for that breed. Likewise the hens are judged similarly to determine the best hen of a particular breed or variety of canary. The best cocks and best hens of each variety will then compete for Best Bird in each variety. The judges for the show are drawn from some of the most experienced breeders in Victoria and are recognized world wide as being among the best Judges of canaries in Australia.
